Maddie's First Hair Bow

I have to say I wish my wonderful son would look at the camera when I take a picture. His sister, the ham, is still in the stage where she does not get tired of it but she will soon. Maddie went to the hairdresser for the third time and Ms. Kim insisted on putting a hair bow on my poor child. Greg made me buy the doggone thing. I do have to admit that she looks absolutely adorable (I went out the very next day and bought some bows.....UGH) Anyway, here are some pictures of Maddie and her bow as well as her trying to break out of jail. Daddy, Jake and Daisy were down on the grass playing and she wanted to be there but I thought it was too wet. Sorry Maddie.

The Buckalews take a trip to the circus!

So people say that three is a good year for taking your child to the circus. I want to meet those people because let me tell you, three is not the best age. Jake was good for awhile but when the 10th set of acrobats came out and less and less animals danced across the floor, Jake got a little squirmy. 14 is not a good age for the circus either, J.P. was a little bored. What is a good age?

Overall the day was fun and we had really good seats so that is always a plus. Following the circus we went to the Varsity and had a Frosty Orange. Ahh, Atlanta.
